Social media policies are becoming the hot topic now as legal departments are beginning to seriously grapple with the issue. How open or restrictive should companies be with respect to allowing employees to engage in social media. Should employees be able to blog or Twitter or Facebook on company time? Should they be allowed to use their company name in association with their communications? What is the legal departments oversight responsibility?
