Now that I’ve been blogging for the first time in my life for a little over a week, it seems like a good time to take stock.  While some people have noticed us positively, others have been critical.  But all feedback, positive and negative, is a gift.

We recognize that we have improvements to make to our blog and we will keep you posted on these improvements as they happen.  We encourage your continuous feedback, as we are listening and know that it will only enhance our blog in the end.

Barry, I am encouraged to see Martindale-Hubbell taking steps to embrace new technologies and find new ways to help attorneys and other legal professionals. It’s good to see a venerated legal industry resource like M-H take up the “change” agenda that technology so clearly makes possible today. In particular, M-H’s ideas to introduce a Professional Network on is a promising and a positive move and it will help lawyers to do more easily what they have always done – work with others legal professionals, to share information, discuss legal issues, exchange referrals, and generally advance the legal profession. Satisfying the the needs of many different types of lawyers will be a challenge in making the plan you’ve outlined come to life because there really doesn’t seem to be a “one size fits all”. Consider remaining very flexible as you move forward with the blog, the communities of lawyers, and your other super plans, so that M-H can satisfy the varied needs within the legal profession. This blogosphere is a great new tool. I’ll be catching up with it while on the road, especially. Thanks for the information and best of luck. Karen
