My first thoughts are Michael Jordan, that wacky Jim Carrey movie The Number 23, and my birthday (September 23rd).
Here’s a new thought for all of us: download this free mindmap in Martindale.com Connected, which presents a visual guide to 23-free employment law resources on various LexisNexis sites.
Introducing Subject Area Mindmaps (“S.A.M.”)
The Subject Area Mindmap (or S.A.M. for short) is something new we’re using on Martindale.com Connected and LexisNexis Communities. It provides lawyers with a one-page visual guide that links to great content in their practice areas. We plan on doing a lot more of these in the months to come, and are open to suggestions of what people would like to see diagrammed. Leave a comment below to let us know your thoughts and suggestions on this project.
Featured Law Firm: Fisher & Phillips LLP
You will notice that the law firm of Fisher & Phillips LLP is featured on the Employment Law S.A.M.. There’s a reason for that. Not only are they a fantastic firm “representing employers nationally in labor and employment matters” and a valued subscriber to Martindale.com, but they are offering something truly great in the weeks to come that every labor and employment lawyer should know about. It’s called:
“One Day, Many Solutions – Employment Law Coast to Coast – April 2011.”
To get the inside scoop on this event, which starts next week, you should download an informative brochure in our Employment Litigation group that was posted by CMO Kevin Sullivan. For convenience to our readers, here is the event overview from the Fisher & Phillips LLP website (see original here):

One more thing: Fisher & Phillips LLP’s seminar series is happening in 21 cities around the U.S., only two less than the number 23! Coincidence?
Okay, no … but it does tie in nicely to the beginning of this post, don’t you think?
